How quickly can you carry out a quote inspection?
For non-urgent enquiries, we typically arrange a survey within two to three working days. For urgent issues, we prioritize same-day assessments whenever possible. We work Monday to Friday, with weekend slots available for emergencies.
Do you provide fixed quotes for new bathrooms?
Yes, we provide itemized written quotes for bathroom installations after a thorough survey. The quote breaks down the cost of materials, fixtures, and labour, clearly. Prices remain firm unless unexpected structural works were not previously identified and need attention.
Are your engineers insured and qualified for the work they do?
Every engineer who works for Ilmington Buildline is fully insured with public liability cover and holds any certification relevant to the specific task (such as Gas Safe for boiler work). We are happy to provide copies for any job beforehand if you decide to book us.
What happens if an unexpected issue like a failed shower valve is found mid-fix?
If dealing with a pre-agreed job, the lead practical engineer ensures any potential discovery during the work stops the job immediately, informing the clients, explaining costs and bearing added costs. We'll wait for you to decide which additional works to carry out and get your approval – in writing by email – for who covers authorised up-front.
Do you offer emergency services outside standard working hours?
Our standard working worked calendar includes an emergency line 9am–5:30pm Mon–Fri. But we keep plans to include jobs for crises by rotating, a truly dedicated team but only if engineered ourselves confirmed on schedule for beyond first.
How do you leave the project on completion?
One non-stop clause sees our engineers gather 2 clean covering: we remove all fitted surface you maybe so completely wall/floor debris air. Waste, rags old parts then whole units.
